- Soliciting advice on how to strengthen a future proposal.
- Inquiring about the possibility and timing for your organization to reapply in the future while respecting any submission limitations some grantors may have.
Embrace Feedback Graciously:
Genuinely appreciate and accept all feedback with humility. Avoid getting into arguments or offering excuses, as this will not enhance your chances of securing future awards and may alienate potential donors.

Demonstrate humility by expressing gratitude and a commitment to incorporating the suggestions provided by the grantor or program officer.
Fostering a Strong Relationship with the Grantor:
Engage actively in efforts to strengthen your relationship with the grantor.
