Dr Michael Kiragu (Lead Facilitator)

Dr. Michael Kiragu brings over 20 years of experience in the development sector. He has helped organizations secure over USD 100 million in grants from top funders like PEPFAR, The Global Fund, UNICEF, WHO, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Michael has trained more than 1,600 nonprofit professionals in grant fundraising. He believes anyone can master grant writing with the right skills and is passionate about helping others succeed.

Rose Odengo (Guest Facilitator)

Rose Odengo is a strategy and communication consultant with nearly 20 years of experience. She is the founder of SIGANA, a firm that supports businesses and nonprofits with strategy, business development, and communication.

She has worked with organisations across five continents and supported nonprofits funded by the Gates, Oaks, Obama, and Segal Family Foundations, as well as USAID, the World Bank, and FCDO.

Her method, Communication for Impact, helps organisations grow income and scale their impact. Rose enjoys long nature walks in her free time.
